August 8 - 1:00 PM EDT - Polycom's VC2 Strategy

As video expands from real-time meetings occurring in conference rooms to live and on-demand visual communication on the desktop, mobile device, and immersive suite, new expectations from users, IT managers, and executives are quickly emerging. Consumer-driven phenomena such as YouTube and the iPhone increasingly influence end users, while the socio-economic forces of globalization and environmentalism increase pressures to speed the rate of video adoption in the enterprise. Tomorrow's visual communication solutions must meet a higher standard of organizational alignment, flexibility, and applicability beyond room-based conferencing.  This session to be presented by John O'Shaughnessy, Polycom Video Solutions Group, will explore how Polycom's VC2 vision can help organizations fully leverage the opportunities and meet the new demands created by these accelerating trends.

February 8 - Automated Self-Service Video Conferencing

This session was presented by Cam Laughlin from Wire One Communications. The Video Conferencing services industry is moving down the path that the travel and banking industries have already taken. Those industries have successfully shifted from full-service to technology-fueled self-service automation. Video Conferencing program managers continue to look for ways to make video conferencing easier and more cost-effective through automation. In this session, attendees learned how automation can make video conference scheduling and launch easy for the non-technical end-user.
