The collaboration needs of the healthcare industry are varied and, in many cases, highly specialized.   Remote medical consultation, ongoing certification training and interactive patient diagnosis are several of the applications being enhanced today with collaboration solutions.  The Healthcare SIG is a virtual meeting place for PUG members in the healthcare industry to network and learn about the latest trends in conferencing and collaboration.

Members of the Healthcare SIG include, but are not limited to:

• Hospitals
• Medical Clinics
• Medical Research Centers
• Medical Schools

The goals of the Healthcare SIG include:

• Learn about the latest products and services to assist you in your day-to-day operations
• Network with other conferencing and collaboration professionals within the same Healthcare Industry, as well as Polycom Executives and staff
• Address any challenges Healthcare SIG members are now encountering
• Provide input on future Healthcare SIG meeting topics

The Healthcare SIG is currently led by Barry Boardman from PUG and Ron Emerson, Global Director of Healthcare Markets, Polycom.
