Technical_and_Engineering_SIG

The Technical and Engineering SIG is a quarterly, virtual meeting place for members who need in-depth technical information on products and applications, regardless of their level of expertise. Everyone who attends a session will take back, at least, a nugget of information with them that will facilitate their decision-making process, inform them on available products, how these products fit in the delivery architecture, and how they work.

The Technical and Engineering SIG is the place to learn about the standards, protocols, capabilities, limitations and requirements that make these components what they are, and help inform them about their place within the infrastructure that underpins any service delivery to client bases.

PUG believes in the promotion of information exchange and the Technical and Engineering SIG members are encouraged to:

  • Submit questions on any technical topic prior to each Technical and Engineering SIG session to receive answers from knowledgeable sources,
  • Participate in the Technical and Engineering SIG sessions and ask questions of the presenters,
  • Engage with colleagues by actively continuing the discussion of the presentations via the Discussion Board of the PUG Website, an
  • Attend the PUG Annual Conference and drop in at the in-person Technical and Engineering SIG where Polycom, Inc. executives and staff are on hand to answer questions, address concerns, and provide a look-ahead for the upcoming year.

If you have any questions or would like to register for the next meeting, please send an e-mail to info@pug.com or call +1 952-928-4665
